Meeta Mistry is a European Patent Attorney and joined CropDesign in 2002. Meeta has extensive experience of Intellectual Property having worked for a number of years in both private practice and industry. She entered the patent profession in 1996, working for a well-known firm of UK Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys where she was involved in a broad range of aspects relating to Intellectual Property, including patents, trademarks, designs and copyright.

In 1999 she decided to steer her career to an industrial setting by joining the patent department of Syngenta in The Netherlands where she was able to use her scientific background in Biochemistry to a greater extent and to specialise in plant Biotech patenting.
