Dr. Peerbolte joined CropDesign from Advanta-VanderHave Seeds, where he was Head of the Biotechnology Department and the Laboratory Department.

He has extensive expertise in plant transformation and molecular markers. He received his Ph.D. in plant molecular biology from Leiden University, The Netherlands (1986).
